10 Fights Set for Bellator Champions Series
The Bellator Champions Series will return to the Accor Arena in Paris, France, on Friday, May 17, 2024, with 10 fights scheduled. This will be the third Bellator event to be held at the Accor Arena in the past three years, following Bellator 296 on May 12, 2023, and Bellator 280 on May 6, 2022.
The main event of Bellator Champions Series will feature a lightweight bout between Magomed "Tiger" Magomedov (20-4) and Patchy "No Mercy" Mix (9-4).
Other notable fights on the card include:
- Welterweight: Fabian "The Assassin" Edwards vs. Gegard "The Dreamcatcher" Mousasi
- Light heavyweight: Yoel "Soldier of God" Romero vs. Anthony "Rumble" Johnson
- Featherweight: A.J. "Mercenary" McKee vs. Patricio "Pitbull" Freire
The Bellator Champions Series is a developmental league for up-and-coming fighters. The series has produced several UFC champions, including Israel Adesanya, Kamaru Usman, and Francis Ngannou.
